Find a due date in working days
Pick the start date, then the number of working days to add. The calculator skips Saturdays, Sundays and French public holidays, and shows the due date. The start day is not counted: 1 working day after a Monday is the Tuesday.
Examples
- 5 working days after a Monday with no holiday: the next Monday.
- 10 working days after a Friday: the Friday two weeks later, if there is no holiday in between.
- Each public holiday on a weekday pushes the due date back by one working day.
What is it for?
Delivery times, processing times, payment terms or reply deadlines given in working days. For a deadline in calendar days, weeks or months, choose that option in the end date. For a legal or contract deadline, always check how the text says to count.
Subtract working days
To count backwards, set the due date as the end date, then look for the start date that gives the right number of working days in the results.
